Overview
Factions are organized groups of players that control territory, run operations, and fight for power. There are two main categories: official factions (approved by admins, with upgradeable slots and perks) and unofficial factions (capped at 99 members, no upgrades or perks).
Factions are classified by type:
| Illegal | Criminal organizations. Can do gun runs, take turfs, form alliances. |
| Law Enforcement | Police and military. Can go on duty, use megaphones, make announcements. |
| Delivery | Delivery and logistics. Can make announcements and use law enforcement skins at HQ. |
| Government | Government bodies. Can make announcements. |
| Hitman | Contract killers. Operates independently. |
| News | Media faction. Can broadcast news to all players. |
New factions created less than 48 hours ago are temporarily capped at 100 members regardless of slot upgrades.
Joining a Faction
How you join a faction depends on its type:
- Illegal factions -- advertise yourself as looking for work, respond to recruitment advertisements, or apply on the faction's forum page.
- Legal factions -- visit the faction's sub-board on the forum, submit an application, or attend a walk-in interview at their headquarters.
- Law enforcement -- see Law-Enforcement for detailed information on joining the police department or the special forces.
Leaving a Faction
To leave a faction, ask a high-ranking member (tier 0 or 1) to uninvite you. During an active faction war, you can leave on your own using /leavefaction confirm, but you cannot be re-invited until the war ends.
Starting Your Own Faction
To start your own faction, first create an unofficial faction and build up your membership. Prove your faction's worth through consistent roleplay and activity. Once established, you can apply for official status through the forum.
Tier Hierarchy
Every faction member has a tier that determines what they can do. Tier 0 is the highest (leader), tier 3 is the lowest (regular member).
| Tier 0 | Leader | Full control over the faction. Can manage members, upgrades, perks, settings, and authorities. |
| Tier 1 | High Ranks | Can invite, uninvite, set frequency, tow vehicles, and unlock all vehicles. |
| Tier 2 | Trusted Member | Limited permissions by default. Can be given extra authorities by tier 0. |
| Tier 3 | Member | Basic faction member. No management commands. |
During a faction war, tier 1 changes are restricted. You can only add a new tier 1 if you first remove one, and you can remove a maximum of 2 tier 1 members per war.
Invite Restrictions
- A player must be at least level 1 to be invited into a faction.
- Players who are blacklisted from the faction or faction-banned (legal/illegal type ban) cannot be invited.
- During a faction war, no new invites are allowed (except for hitman factions).
- During a global war, invites are blocked in the last 72 hours.

Illegal official factions have an HQ gun stock and can also store guns in faction-owned houses.
How Gun Runs Work
- Get a Burrito van with at least 3 faction members inside.
- Drive to the gun crate location (
/fguns guns sets the checkpoint) and use /floadguns to load 20 guns for $300,000 (5% discount if your alliance owns the turf). - Drive to the bullet crate location (
/fguns bullets sets the checkpoint) and use /floadbullets to load 20 bullet clips for $200,000. - Drive to your faction HQ or a faction-owned house and use
/fillstock to unload. You receive +20 weapons in stock, +30 f-points, and $560,000 cash.
HQ Gun Stock Capacity
The default capacity is 20 guns. It can be upgraded in increments of 20 for 80 f-points each.
Faction House Gun Stock
Faction houses can hold up to 1,000 guns each. Use /fstocktog to open or close a house's gun stock.

- Alliances share a radio frequency, compound, and vehicle towing.

Each alliance has a compound location with a text label. Approaching an enemy alliance's compound triggers a proximity alert to the owning alliance (once every 5 minutes).
