War Condition Scaling

by Parker_Wells•Mar 17, 2026 at 3:37 PM

Suggestion:
The server has been lacking fun, entertaining, long wars for quite some time now. I believe this can be attributed to a major flaw in the war system: it does not account for differences in faction sizes in any way.

Some sort of scaling system should be implemented, as it has become fairly rare for two factions to be “equal” enough for their leaders to agree to war.

My suggestion is to make death fees scale with faction size. For example, a faction with 70 members would lose only 70k per grounder death when fighting a faction with 100 members, which would lose 100k per grounder death in this scenario.

This is merely an example, though—feel free to share other scaling ideas / methods in the replies.

Who benefits:
Encourages underdog factions to actually take fights instead of avoiding wars entirely.

Rewards active, well-organized factions over bloated rosters.

Helps prevent stagnation caused by dominant, oversized factions.

Would make inactive faction members / slot holders an actual liability, making every slot count.

Who is hurt:
Might take a while to set up and require some trial and error to find the right ratios.

Some people will complain.

Might make wars take longer to set up.

Awesome suggestion, Parker. This change would benefit everybody. I can't think of any downsides.
