What will happen to my feedback?

Feedback is mostly a way to keep track of things. Bug reports and suggestions are written down here so they don’t get lost in chat or on Discord. Every item is read. From there, one of a few things can happen:

  • It gets fixed or added, exactly as written. For example, a small bug like “the door of this car can’t be closed” might be fixed within a day.
  • It gets done in part. For example, a suggestion for ten new features might lead to two of them being added.
  • It gives someone an idea for something else. For example, a suggestion to add more parking in Los Santos might not happen, but it could lead to a wider parking system rework later on.
  • It just stays on the list. Nothing happens to it for now, but it’s on record so it can be found later.

Not every bug report or suggestion will be done, and not every one will get a reply. That doesn’t mean it was ignored. An item can sit for weeks, months, or even years before anything visible happens to it. Sometimes it shapes a later decision quietly, without ever being marked “done”.

This isn’t because feedback isn’t wanted. It’s the opposite. There is just always more to do than there is time for, and the direction the server is going won’t always match what one player wants. Some good ideas don’t fit the server. Some good ideas fit, but only later. For example, a great suggestion about gangs might wait a year if the team is busy fixing the economy.

Submitting feedback is still worth it. It puts the idea on record, lets others vote and discuss it, and makes it easy to find when related work happens later. The best thing you can do is describe the bug or idea clearly, vote on the ones you care about, and let the rest sit. It’s not lost.
