Boosting Server Donations with a Reworked Spin (Token) System
Suggestion:
Right now, the daily spin system feels pretty unrewarding there is absolutely no way to directly buy spins. The only way to get more than one spin a day is to buy a Premium Package.
Since the wheel is heavily weighted toward $10k drops, buying a whole premium package just to get a few extra daily spins doesn't really feel worth it. It also means the server is missing out on a lot of potential donations from players who just want to test their luck without committing to a full monthly package.
I think we should rework the system to give us actual goals to grind for and massively boost donations for the server.
Here is how we could fix it:
- Let us buy spins directly and rename them as tokens.
- Make different tiers of wheels on the panel
Standard Wheel (Costs 1 Token): The usual stuff. 10k to 500k cash, Name Changes, Vehicle/House Claims, plus standard Donator Vehicles like the NRG-500, Cheetah, etc.
High Roller Wheel (Costs 10 Token): No junk prizes. You only roll for high cash drops, Custom Plates, Business claims, and Custom Modded Vehicles (BMW M5, Lancer Evo, etc.).
Maybe we can make the big prizes in the wheels rotate weekly, so the excitement keeps going.
- Add a pity or milestone system
Every 50 tokens spent = Guaranteed mid-value reward
Every 200 tokens spent = Guaranteed high-value reward
Every 1,000 tokens spent = Guaranteed rare reward and then it resets back to 0.
If players know they are guaranteed a rare prize at 1,000 tokens, they are way more likely to open their wallets and buy the remaining spins from the shop to reach that finish line.
- Make the drop rates public
Note: As I was typing the suggestion, I saw there was a similar baseline concept made before (https://sa-mp.im/feedback/issue/120), but it had less detail. I wanted to expand on it here with actual systems like wheel tiers, pity milestones, and direct purchasing to show how it could practically work.
Who benefits:
WOET.
Everyone.
Who is hurt:
I don't see any.
