Overview
The wanted list stores active law-enforcement cases that can be viewed in the MDC, shown with /wlist, and linked to arrests.
Wanted cases can be charge-backed cases made through the MDC, legacy reason-based entries, or prison-escape bounty entries.
Access
| Feature | Who Can Use It |
|---|---|
| MDC wanted status | Law enforcement with MDC access, or hacked MDC access |
| Make Wanted | T0, T1, and T2 law enforcement |
/wlist | T0, T1, and T2 law enforcement, or hacked MDC access |
/suremove | T0 and T1 law enforcement |
Hacked MDC access can view wanted status and /wlist, but cannot create wanted cases.
MDC Actions
Use /mdc [playerid] from a law-enforcement MDC location or vehicle.
| MDC Action | Description |
|---|---|
Wanted Status | Shows active wanted cases for the selected player |
Make Wanted | Opens the penal-code charge selector |
Make Wanted uses the same penal-code charge selector as /jail. Officers select one or more charges and confirm with Make Wanted; no manual reason text is entered. The wanted reason is generated from the selected charges.
| Make Wanted Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum charges | 1 |
| Maximum charges | 10 |
| Manual reason text | No |
| Announcement | Sent to senior on-duty law enforcement |
| Logging | Stored in law-enforcement faction logs |
Wanted List
Use /wlist to view active wanted entries from the last 28 days.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Case ID | Wanted entry ID |
| Suspect | Wanted player name, if linked |
| Charges or reason | Penal-code sections or legacy reason |
| Issuer | Who created the wanted entry |
| Date | When it was created |
Legacy entries remain visible in /wlist, but they cannot be automatically linked to MDC status or arrests if they do not have a suspect ID or stored charge rows.
Prison-escape wanted entries also appear as reason-based entries. They are cleared by the prison escape system when the fugitive survives, is captured, dies, or disconnects.
Active wanted entries are also cleared when the suspect changes their character name.
Arrest Linking
When /jail [playerid] is used on a player with active wanted cases, the arrest flow loads those cases automatically.
| Arrest Linking Rule | Result |
|---|---|
| Active wanted cases exist | Cases are loaded into the arrest selector |
| Wanted charges exist | Charges are preselected |
| Officer tries to remove wanted charges | Wanted charges stay locked |
| Officer adds extra charges | Extra charges are allowed |
| Arrest completes | Linked wanted entries are cleared with arrest metadata |
The arrest must include at least the jail time required by the linked wanted cases, capped at 50 minutes. If the wanted cases require more jail time than the arresting officer's tier cap allows, a higher-tier officer must process it.
Manual Clearing
T0 and T1 law-enforcement members can use /suremove [wanted id] to manually clear an active wanted entry. Use the case ID shown by /wlist.
| Manual Clear Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Command | /suremove <wanted id> |
| Clear reason | manual |
| Audit metadata | Who cleared it and when |
Commands
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/mdc [playerid] | Opens MDC information, including wanted status |
/wlist | Lists active wanted entries from the last 28 days |
/suremove <wanted id> | Manually clears an active wanted entry |
