The Trucker job lets you earn money by hauling cargo between cities and delivering components to businesses.
How to Get This Job
- Obtain a driver's license from the DMV
- Go to City Hall (use
/gpsto find it) - Enter the checkpoint and use
/choosejobto select Trucker
Delivery Missions
How to Start
- Go to a Truck Depot (use
/gpsto find one) -- there are depots in Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas - Enter a truck at the depot
- Use
/tm(or/truckermission) to see available deliveries - Select a delivery and drive to the red checkpoint to spawn and attach your trailer
- Follow the checkpoint to the delivery destination
You have 30 seconds to attach the trailer after it spawns. If you leave the driver seat or lose the trailer during a delivery, you have 90 seconds to reconnect before the mission is cancelled.
Pay
Delivery pay is based on the distance you drive:

The highest-paying deliveries are cross-city trips and can pay around $39,000 per delivery.
Fortune Spin
For deliveries with a distance of 5,000 meters or more, you have a 1 in 20 chance of earning a fortune spin.
Component Deliveries
Businesses need components to restock their inventory. As a trucker, you can buy components at a warehouse and sell them to businesses for profit.
How to Deliver Components
- Use
/ordersto see which businesses need components - Use
/buycompsto get a checkpoint to the component warehouse - Rent a delivery van for $5,000 at the warehouse
- Buy components with
/buycomps <amount>-- each component costs $350 - Use
/ordersto select a business, drive there, and use/sellcompsat the door

Your profit per component is the difference between the business order price and the $350 base cost.
You must be driving a rental delivery van to deliver components. Personal vehicles cannot be used.
