Overview

All players are required to read and understand the server rules. You can find the full rules on the forums at forum.sa-mp.im under the Rules section.

If you encounter players breaking rules, you can report them:

• In-game:/report <player> <reason>
• Forum: Visit sa-mp.im/server/report-player and fill out the form with screenshots and details

Roleplay Rules

Powergaming (PG)

Powergaming means roleplaying in a way that is unrealistic or unfair. This includes:

• Forcing roleplay on others without letting them respond
• Performing impossible actions (e.g., lifting a car)
• Using a phone or laptop during a gunfight, while cuffed, tied, or unconscious

Metagaming (MG)

Metagaming means using OOC information for IC purposes. Examples:

• Reading a player's nametag when your character has never met them
• Using information from PMs or Discord to make in-character decisions
• Acting on information your character would not realistically know

Mixing

Mixing is using OOC language or references in IC chat. Examples include typing "LOL", "OMG", or emojis in IC chat. Leaving a faction for OOC reasons and using it for IC gain is also considered mixing.

Non-RP / Refusing to RP

Everyone must roleplay at all times. Ignoring /me and /do commands, acting unrealistically, or refusing to engage in roleplay situations is not allowed.

OOC in RP

Using OOC chat (/b) during active RP situations is forbidden. If you witness a rule break during RP, report it after the RP situation ends.

Combat Rules

Deathmatching (DM)

Deathmatching is killing another player without a valid IC reason. Minor insults, small accidents, or OOC disagreements are not valid reasons for killing. DM is punishable by jail or ban.

Dueling

Duels are only allowed at logical locations such as alleys, deserts, or private properties. Dueling at public areas (Mall, Ammu-Nation, PD, etc.) is forbidden.

Revenge Killing (RK)

Revenge killing means targeting someone who killed you earlier without a new valid IC reason. You must not return to the place where you died to seek retaliation.

Spawn Killing

Killing a player immediately after they spawn is prohibited. Exceptions exist only for specific war rules or crash shootouts.

Driver Drive-By (DDB)

The following are prohibited:

• Shooting from the driver's seat
• Parking your vehicle on top of another player
• Killing with helicopter rotors
• Ramming a player multiple times (a single ram is permitted, but repeated ramming is DDB)

Only disabling vehicles (not killing the occupants by ramming) is allowed.

Healing in Fights

You may not heal during active combat except by using drugs. You may only heal after you have clearly escaped from your enemy. This rule is strictly enforced through game logs.

Returning to Death Location

You are not allowed to return to the place where you died until the situation has been fully resolved.

Crime Rules

Rob Limits

Forbidden Robbery Zones

The following locations forbid roleplay robbery and kidnapping (being near them does not count as protection):

• Mall, Car Lots, Pershing Square
• Casinos, Betting Centers, Church
• Clubs (interior), DMV, Gunshops
• Banks, Airport Terminals (runways/hangars are okay)
• Hospitals, Tolls
• Legal job locations (Truck depot, mechanic depot, taxi depot)

Scamming

Scamming for properties, vehicles, cash, drugs, or materials is forbidden under all circumstances. Offenders face suspension and item removal.

Moneybag Rules

You may only kill players carrying moneybags if you are directly involved in the robbery or are law enforcement. Random killings over moneybags are considered DM.

Trespassing

You may kill trespassers on your property, but only after giving 3 clear warnings. Area 51 is an exception where trespassers can be shot on sight.

Law Enforcement Rules

You cannot kill police just for pulling you over. You may resist if they frisk you and you are armed, but not if they only issue a ticket.

Communication Rules

Insults

Insults targeting family, religion, sexual preference, or political views are never allowed. Heated arguments with mild insults may be tolerated at admin discretion.

Advertisement Abuse

Misusing /ad for provocation, spam, slang, OOC sales, or contraband is forbidden. Advertisements must be creative and in-character. See Community & Support for advertisement guidelines.

Spam

Posting 3 or more lines of the same message in chat is considered spam. Flooding chat is punished more severely.

Language

Only English is allowed in public chats. Other languages are only permitted in OOC private spaces or PMs.

Provoking

Deliberately provoking players into fights, chases, or rule breaks is forbidden. Examples include horn spam, insults, or /pissing without reason.

Account Rules

Ban Evading

Ban evading (changing your IP to bypass a ban) is strictly prohibited. If caught, you will be permanently banned with no chance of appeal. Always submit a ban appeal instead.

Account Sharing

Accounts are personal and cannot be shared or sold. Using alternate accounts to transfer IC advantages is forbidden.

Quit to Avoid RP

Using /q, /kill, pausing, or forcing a timeout to avoid RP, arrest, or death is punishable by jail or ban. After being killed, you cannot use any method to avoid being added to the kill list.

AFK Script Abuse

Avoiding the AFK detection system using bots, scripts, or objects is forbidden and results in a ban.

Cheats, Hacks & Mods

Using cheats, hacks, unauthorized mods, or bypassing the launcher is permanently bannable. Cheating bans are final and cannot be appealed.

Server Advertising

Advertising other servers in-game or on the forums results in a 1 month to permanent IP ban.

Encouraging Rule Breaks

Encouraging other players to break rules results in double punishment or an IP ban.

Other Rules

Gambling Limits

You cannot gamble more than $20,000,000 at once. Exceeding this deletes the money/items involved and results in jail time.

OOC Extortion

Using OOC threats for IC gain or lying in reports is forbidden. Offenders lose items and face suspensions.

Bug & Animation Abuse

Abusing bugs or animations (like /fall through walls or /dance to provoke) is forbidden. Offenders risk IP bans.

Unrealistic Accessories

Unrealistic accessories or accents are forbidden. Only fitting customizations that match your character are allowed.

Enter Abuse

Abusing /enter to escape fights or arrests is forbidden.

Real Money Trading

Buying or selling in-game items for real money is strictly forbidden and leads to permanent bans.

Government Buildings

You cannot kill inside PD, City Hall, EMS, or military bases without a strong IC reason. Players who abuse government building protection lose it.

Rape RP

Rape roleplay requires OOC agreement from all parties involved. Without explicit consent, it is strictly forbidden.

Moneyvan

You are allowed to shoot someone with a rented moneyvan, regardless of whether it is loaded or not.
