Overview

Groups are informal player-run organizations separate from factions. They offer a shared chat channel, member lists, and optional open recruitment. Each group has a main leader and an optional secondary leader who can manage members and settings.

Creating a Group

Use /groupcreate <name> to create a new group.

After creation you are automatically assigned as the group leader.

Leadership

Groups support a dual leadership structure.

RoleDescription
Main leaderFull control. Can delete the group, transfer leadership, and manage all settings.
Secondary leaderCan invite and uninvite members, rename the group, and modify settings. Optional.
  • Use /groupleader <player> to transfer main leadership ($50,000).
  • Use /groupleader2 <name> to assign a secondary leader (free), or /groupleader2 unset to remove one.
The main leader cannot leave the group while other members remain. Transfer leadership or delete the group first.

Join Settings

Leaders can configure how new members join through /group.

Invite onlyMembers must be invited by a leader. This is the default.
Anyone can joinPlayers can browse and join the group through /groups.

When set to "Anyone can join," you can also set a minimum level requirement (1-100) or a minimum of 4 respect points. Leaders can write a recruitment message (up to 255 characters) that is displayed in the /groups listing.

Browsing Open Groups

Players who are not in a group can use /groups to browse open groups. The listing shows up to 20 groups with their recruitment messages. Selecting a group shows full details including the leader, minimum level, member count, and recruitment message before confirming.

Group Chat

Use /g <message> to talk in the group OOC chat. All online group members will see the message. Members can individually toggle the chat on or off with /gtog.

Member Lists
