Overview
To drive vehicles legally on the server, you need a driver's license. You can get one by passing a driving test at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) in Los Santos. The test requires you to drive through a series of 25 checkpoints while following traffic rules.
DMV Location
The DMV is located in Los Santos, near the driving school. When you use the /driverlic command and you are not at the DMV, a checkpoint will be placed on your minimap to guide you there.
How to Take the Test
- Go to the DMV location in Los Santos.
- Type
/driverlicto start the driving test. - You will be placed in a test vehicle.
- Follow the checkpoints on your minimap one by one.
- Obey all the rules listed below until you reach the final checkpoint.
- If you pass, you will receive your driver's license automatically.
Rules
You must follow these rules during the test. Breaking any of them will cause you to fail immediately.
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Speed limit | Do not drive faster than 115 km/h. You get 3 warnings before you fail. |
| Vehicle damage | Do not damage the vehicle below 85% health. Any crash that drops the health below this will fail you instantly. |
| Time limit | You must reach each checkpoint within 90 seconds. Taking longer will fail you. |
| Stay in the vehicle | Do not exit the vehicle at any point during the test. Leaving the car will fail you instantly. |

The test route goes through the streets of Los Santos. There are 25 checkpoints in total. Follow them in order as they appear on your minimap. You do not need to memorize the route -- each checkpoint appears one at a time.
